I’m an engineer and an educator. In designing water treatment systems for PFAS and later in teaching, I hear a lot of questions from people concerned about PFAS and their impact on health, taxes. Mostly, people want to know how worried they should be and what they can do about it. These concerns are not effectively addressed by the science and engineering literature, which too often fails to effectively address the questions and concerns of normal people.
At PFASt and loose, I start to answer those questions and I try to do it in a way that’s both understandable and scientifically close-to-accurate. And hopefully fun to read.
